Event Curation & Production

From boutique festivals and international conferences to brand experiences and private events, I bring together creative direction and hands-on production to deliver projects from concept through to execution.

A global boutique festival set in remarkable destinations around the world. Each edition transforms unique venues into chic pink playgrounds. Guests sip, play, and dance as day turns to night - a global celebration of style, taste, and all things rosé.

Interstella Summit Lisbon

A boutique conference built around meaningful conversations and curated networking within the global legal tech community. Beyond production, I helped shape the cultural experience of the summit through local partnerships, sponsor activations and immersive Lisbon experiences.

03 Brand Collaboration · Lisbon

Bespoke Embroidery & Brand Activation

I designed the embroidered pieces for a leadership event hosted by a global payments brand, made in collaboration with A Avó Veio Trabalhar — a Lisbon social enterprise that brings women over sixty together to get creative. The women hand-stitched the designs onto hostess shirts and tablecloths, as well as a large-format textile welcome banner that hung as an art piece at the event.

The embroidery was one element of a wider two-day event, for which I also sourced props and costumes and provided onsite production support.

Fashion, Community & Sustainability

Fashion and sustainability run through much of my work, often in smaller, community-led formats: documentary screenings, panel conversations, hands-on workshops and pop-up sustainable fashion markets.

Highlights include the Lisbon premieres of the acclaimed documentaries Fashion Reimagined and Handmade Future, and launches through my own label, Ziggy Lloyd.

From private designer appointments, artisan workshops, studio visits and behind-the-scenes access, each experience offers a deeper connection to Lisbon's creative community.

I plan each one around the person: what they love, what they're looking for and how much time they have.

02 / About Sophie

I started out writing about fashion. What hooked me was the people behind it.

For more than two decades, I've worked across fashion, design, events and cultural experiences.

Originally from the UK, my career began in fashion journalism in Shanghai before launching Shop Hop, a personal shopping and design tour business in Buenos Aires in 2013.

Through bespoke shopping experiences and designer studio visits I developed a passion for connecting people with the makers, places and stories that often sit behind the scenes. Along the way, I worked across theatre costume design and styling, before founding Ziggy Lloyd, my own fashion label of limited edition jackets celebrating alpaca wool and the artisan craftsmanship of South American makers.

After relocating to Lisbon, my work gradually expanded into larger-scale events, festivals and conferences, bringing the same spirit of discovery and connection to a broader audience.

Based in Lisbon. Working internationally.
